World's Easiest Homemade Flatbreads

Warm flatbreads straight off the grill are one of the greatest things on this planet and before now I can almost guarantee you didn't realise how easy they are to make!

Using ingredients found in most households on a daily basis and taking less than 15 minutes to make, it's a wonder people don't make these breakfast, lunch and dinner! I like to serve these cut up into wedges on a big platter in the middle of the table with a variety of different dips to dunk them in!

World's Easiest Homemade Flatbreads
Makes 4-6

250g self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting
250g natural yogurt
½ tsp baking powder
olive oil
sea salt

In a bowl or large freezer bag, stir together the flour, yogurt, baking powder and a good pinch of salt. When the mixture starts coming together, flour your hands and knead the dough on a lightly floured surface.

Divide the dough into 4-6 equal pieces, then roll out into circles 2-3mm thick. Heat a griddle pan over the campfire or barbecue (or on a hob). Cook the flatbreads one by one in the pan for 2-3 minutes, turning every now and then, until golden on both sides. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle over some salt and roughly cut up into pieces, if you like, before serving.
